Marco Guazzini was born in Florence. After living for six years in New York he moved to Milan and dedicated himself to design. He graduated in Industrial Design at IED in Milan and started working in different design fields from interior to furniture and later on to decor. In 2006 he participated at the Fuori Salone of Zona Tortona with ‘Action Group’, a group of Japanese and Italian designers. From 2007 until 2011 he taught at NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan. In 2011 Cristalplant Design Contest + MDF, awarded him and his colleague Tsukasa Goto, with a special mention price for the project Fua Fua. In the same year the company Officinanove produces the modular system ‘Mademoiselles’, designed in collaboration with Tsukasa Goto, which was presented at Salone del Mobile in Milan Rho Fair. In 2012 the company Ex.t produces the towel rack Gru and the company Pimar produces the magazine rack Yo and the umbrella stand Tre bien. All these products were been presented at Fuori Salone 2012 in Zona Tortona and Brera Design District in Milan.
