Fine Food Kärlekoch Mat met up with Note Design Studio to design their restaurant & cafè bistrot in the heart of Hammarby Sjöstad in Stockholm.
Inspired by Death Valley photographic project by Jordan Sullivan, the 200 square meters space is conceived to catch light changes in order to turn a harsh landscape into a welcoming & cosy living space. The main challenge of this project was to express through just one logo a concept place including a cafeteria, a lunch restaurant as well as a bistro. Deep green for marble, grey nuances for rocks & mountains and turquoise for the sky, contrast with more earthed nuances like reds and pinks from flooring to furniture. Also the colours palette embodies the many possibilities of natural colours on a mountains landscape. Featuring original natural materials from Scandinavia & Guatemala, each complement including Ex.t ceramic Fuse lamps, has been carefully selected or designed to give an exclusive but welcoming atmosphere to the entire restaurant.
